About the Club

Eagles FC was created in Spring 2013 by Chris Goff, the father of a football-mad ASL kindergartener, to provide fun and high-quality football instruction for him and his friends. For whatever reason, a group of K1 students had become fixated on playing football at lunch recess, and they played at every opportunity. All of the boys participated in various developmental football programs for Under-7 children, but none of them felt that the level of instruction was adequate for the needs of this group. They also struggled with programs that fit the British school schedule, and wanted something with the convenience and quality of the ASL after school program. Chris felt the kids would benefit from more directed instruction and league play. Thus the idea for the club was born.

Practices began in Spring 2013, with 21 K2 boys and girls. We now have teams from 1st grade through 9th grade. Eagles FC compete in the Camden and Regent's Park Leagues, with matches taking place every other weekend. We also play friendly matches with other teams, and enter cup competitions when appropriate.

Alexis Johnson took over as Chair in 2022. She is passionate about youth sports and is grateful for the opportunity to lead this exciting programme.

We welcome girls of all ages to play with our teams.
